Volume Trader Competition Results

Congratulations to the Winner of the US$ 10,000 Cash Prize!

The winner, Mr. Naser Soltani from Iran registered on the 8th of December 2009 and started trading about a week after the launch of the Volume Trader Competition (the “Competition”).
During the second week of the Competition, Mr. Soltani closed 594 mini lots. 
By the middle of the Competition, Mr. Soltani managed to close 1686 mini lots. 
Towards the end of December, the number of lots closed by Mr. Soltani was increased by nearly 211% and reached the amount of 3,948 mini lots. Finally, Mr. Soltani managed to close the highest number of mini lots – totaling to 5,241 mini lots!

Mr. Naser Soltani traded mostly Forex currency pairs such as the EURUSD, GBPJPY, GBPUSD, EURJPY and USDJPY.

Interview with Mr. Naser Soltani, winner of the Volume Trader Competition.

Q. What made you decide to participate at the Volume Trader competition?
A. I have always been interested in participating in trading competitions.

Q. When did you first start trading for the competition?
A. I started trading about ten days after the competition started.

Q. How much time did you spend trading during the Volume Trader competition?
A. Around 7 to 8 hours a day. 

Q. What kind of trading strategy / strategies did you use?
A. I use a system which I developed throughout the years and that depends on market conditions.

Q. Did you use any technical indicators? Expert Advisor?
A. I concentrated on fundamental news and did not trade before or during news announcements.

Q. What other type of data do you look for when trading in general? (news, market reports, signals…etc)
A. I usually watch financial news channels on a daily basis and use the overall view of Windsor’s daily technical outlook.

Q. How did you hear about Windsor Brokers?
A. From a BI that trades with Windsor.

Q. What do you like about trading with Windsor?
A. What I like most is the regulatory aspect and the trust that Windsor offers me regarding the safety of my funds.

Q. Would you participate in another competition organized by Windsor?
A. Yes I definitely would.  Especially if it concerns trading, I find it challenging.

Q. Is there any general message that you would like to share with your fellow traders?
A. Yes.  Do not risk your funds especially with big amounts and manage your account carefully. However, when you have the chance to compete and prove yourself and your trading skills, it is necessary to take the risk when the prize that you may gain is worth it.
